Ched and his wife Carolyn moved to Daufuskie Island in 1994. They have been members of Haig Point on Daufuskie since 1986.
Together Ched and Carolyn have five children and ten grandchildren. Their home on Haig Point serves as frequent family vacations.
Prior to moving to South Carolina Ched and Carolyn lived in Pittsburgh. Ched was the owner of a private specialized printing company which was subsequently sold to a public corporation. Carolyn has her own very successful interior design business.
Following their move to the Lowcountry Ched spent 15 years with Sea Pines Real Estate. In 2009 he decided to concentrate on Daufuskie residential sales and joined the firm of Daufuskie Properties.
